Hey there,
With a massive wave of layoffs hitting the market (Stripe, Lyft, Twitter & more) and MAANGs announcing hiring freezes and slowdowns, support is incredibly important for those that have been affected, directly or indirectly. I’ve brought together a few resources that help you get a picture on the general approach to job search in 2022, get the latest on interview Qs and tips for job interviews and in case you want to practice with mentors and allies, I’ve got a few links for you too!
In case you’ve not been affected, reach out to your network (via Twitter, LI & co.) and offer support and help, forward this newsletter, share resources and signup as a volunteer mentor. We’ll get through this and I genuinely believe we’re close to the bottom of this 🧸 market, but we have to work together to support those that help right now.
