Last week was the first week that I missed sending you the weekly briefing. 😱😱😱 I know.
However, sometimes we all have to make hard calls and prioritze. I had a severe COVID case in the family, we were preparing for a board meeting, as well as preparing our next funding round, half of our team was on vacation and next week is also our summer offsite. The offsite orga is carried by our wonderful team this time, but I have to admit: I was overwhelmed. And despite of putting in long hours during the week and on the weekend, my ToDo list just did not get any shorter. I decided to ruthlessly prioritize and focus on family, then fundraise, then boardmeeting, then offsite. It was super hard to get into focus zone, but with help of friends & team I managed and now back on track.
Both resources below helped me realize that despite of the fact that everything looks important, you can only do one thing after another and priorization is your first step out of the crazyness.
